Pumpkin Swim coming to Maple Ridge pool on Saturday
Maple Ridge Leisure Centre will turn its pool into a floating pumpkin patch for a new all-ages event on Saturday, Oct. 10. Activities run from noon to 3 p.m.; each family can take one pumpkin home while supplies last.
The pool at Maple Ridge Leisure Centre will become a watery pumpkin patch for a new “Pumpkin Swim” event on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The event runs from noon to 3 p.m. and welcomes people of all ages. It will include autumn-themed crafts, pool games and swimming in a pool filled with floating pumpkins.
Each family may take one pumpkin home while supplies last. The City of Maple Ridge says the event costs the regular drop-in admission fee and promises it will be a “gourd time.”
