Westbound Dewdney Trunk Road lane reopens in Maple Ridge
One westbound lane and nearby sidewalks have reopened, but 223 Street remains closed while work continues at a development site.

One westbound lane of Dewdney Trunk Road between 222 and 224 streets has reopened in Maple Ridge, along with sidewalks in the area. The reopening restores direct access to nearby businesses.
The City says the developer’s geotechnical engineers assessed the site and confirmed it is stable. The team will continue monitoring conditions and working to reinstate sheet piles before more excavation proceeds.
223 Street remains closed between Dewdney Trunk Road and Brown Avenue as work continues at the development site. City inspectors remain in contact with the developer, contractor and geotechnical engineers.
Drivers, pedestrians and cyclists are asked to follow posted signs and use alternate routes where possible.
