Women-led wellness collective opens in Pitt Meadows
Solace Wellness Collective will host a free open house Sept. 26, offering talks, children’s activities, yoga, tours and a food drive.

Solace Wellness Collective, a new female-owned wellness organization in Pitt Meadows, opened May 1 in the former Bellies Inc. Community Space. Founded by registered massage therapist and mother of two Shannon Berrow, it aims to support people during the perinatal period, as well as families, teens and women at all stages of life.
The collective plans to offer children’s activities and classes, yoga and strength training, parent social groups, and opportunities for people to connect, learn and recharge. It builds on the role Bellies played as a resource for new mothers and families after opening in 2021.
A free open house will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Unit 203, 12165 Harris Road in Pitt Meadows. The event will include talks on child development, motherhood, young families and mental health, and perimenopause; children’s activities; free snacks and beverages; and a free yoga class led by Sky Corbett-Methot at 1:45 p.m.
Guests can also meet practitioners and tour the space. A raffle and door prizes are planned, along with a food drive for Tri-Cities Mom’s Group, which provides food support primarily through a coordinated hamper program for families facing food insecurity in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows and Burnaby. Space for the talks and yoga class is limited and available first come, first served. More information is available at www.SolaceCollective.ca.
