TransLink will improve service on 21 Metro Vancouver routes starting Sept. 7, including five routes serving Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.

TransLink will introduce new or improved service on 21 Metro Vancouver bus routes starting Sept. 7, including several that serve Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.
Local routes receiving increased service are the 701 Coquitlam Central Station/Haney Place/Maple Ridge East, 733 Rock Ridge/Haney Place, 741 Anderson Creek/Haney Place, 745 Haney Place/Cottonwood and 746 Haney Place/Albion.
The R3 Lougheed Highway RapidBus between Coquitlam Central Station and Haney Place will switch to 40-foot buses. Service frequency will not change. TransLink said riders should be able to find a seat on about 99 per cent of trips, but all-door boarding will end and customers will board through the front door.
Seasonal service is also returning on five routes serving post-secondary institutions, including UBC, SFU and Capilano University. More information is available through TransLink’s Fall Service Changes page, Transit Alerts, the Transit app or Customer Information at 604.953.3333.
